Bai Huan Shu (Baihuanshu)
Location
1.5 cun lateral to the midline at the level of the fourth posterior sacral foramen, UB-34 Bailiao.
Needling
- Straight insertion, 1 to 2 cun. Sensation: local distention and numbness extending to the buttocks.
- Perpendicular insertion, 0.5 to 1 cun.
- Puncture perpendicularly, 0.8 to 1.2 cun.

Contraindications
Some classical sources forbid moxibustion on this point.
Notes
Primarily a local point to activate Qi circulation and treat pain of the lumbar region, hip, coccyx and sacrum. Especially indicated to stop leakage of semen, leukorrhea and white, turbid urine.
