Actions

Clear away the heart fire and reduce pathogenic fire, induce diuresis and treat stranguria.

Indications

Stranguria, edema, damp-heat jaundice, upset insomnia, difficult urination, pharyngitis, nocturnal fretfulness infinfants, trauma.

Dosage and Administrations

Decoct 1~3 g or 15~30 g of the fresh product, or made into pill or powder. Mixed with cinnabar when treating upset insomnia. Proper dosage is for external application, stir-bake it into charcoal and then grind into powder for sprinkling, or pounded for applying with fresh product.

Cations

It is contraindicated in case of urinary incontinence or deficiency-cold in lower energizer.
