Actions

Clear heat and remove toxicity, stop bleeding and resolve swelling.

Indications

Scrofula, sores and boils, dysentery, malaria, pulmonary abscess, hematemesis, hemoptysis, metrorrhagia and metrostaxis.

Dosage and Administrations

Decoct 10~15 g, or soaked in wine. Proper dosage is for external application, pounded for applying with fresh product or decocted for washing.

Cations

It is contraindicated in case of yang-deficiency with cold or cold-deficiency in spleen and stomach.
