Actions

Clear heat and promote diuresis, cool blood and stop bleeding, resolve swelling and remove toxicity.

Indications

Hepatitis due to jaundice, stranguria, parotitis, enteritis, hematemesis, hemorrhinia, morbid leucorrhea, hematochezia, hematuria, tonsillitis, sores and boils, eczema.

Dosage and Administrations

Decoct 9~15 g or 30~60 g of the fresh product, or pounded into juice. Proper dosage is for external application, pounded for applying.

Cations

It is contraindicated in case of deficiency-cold.
