Fu Tong Gu (Futonggu)
Location
On the abdomen, 0.5 cun lateral to REN-13 Shangwan, 5 cun above the umbilicus.
Needling
- Perpendicular insertion, 1-1.5 cun.
- Caution: deep needling may penetrate the peritoneal cavity.
- Straight insertion, 0.7-1 cun.
- Puncture perpendicularly, 0.5-1 cun.
- Moxibustion is applicable.
