Name
Guang Ming (Guangming)
Location
On the lateral side of the lower leg, 5 cun above the lateral malleolus, at the anterior margin of the fibula.
Needling
- Straight insertion, 1 to 1.5 cun. Sensation: soreness extending upward to the knee and downward to the top of the foot.
- Puncture perpendicularly, 0.7 to 1 cun.
- Moxibustion is applicable.

Notes
A key point for eye problems. It stimulates the anterior lobe of the pituitary gland, brings stability, and is a good point for those who have had an excessive intake of drugs. It eliminates floaters.
