Name
Hui Yin (Huiyin)
Location
At the perineum, midway between the anus and the scrotum in men, and between the anus and the posterior labial commissure in women.
Needling
- Straight insertion, 1 to 1.5 cun.
- Perpendicular insertion, 0.5 to 1.2 cun.
- Moxibustion is applicable.

Contraindications
Contraindicated during pregnancy. According to some classical sources, needling this point is forbidden.
Notes
This point is located directly opposite to DU-20 Baihui. Some sources consider this point to be the Luo-Connecting point of the REN channel. One source says that this is the master point of the whole body. This is one of the most powerful points on the REN channel.
