(family Euphorbiaceae), growing in or along forests, and distributed in Southwestern China and Anhui, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Fujian, Taiwan, Jiangxi,Hubei, Hunan, Guangdong, Guangxi, Hainan. The root of this plant is also a drug, named Chukangchai.
