The drug is the dried root of Ficus variolosa Lindl. ex Benth. (family Moraceae),growing on hills, plains, and in open woods, distributed in Zhejiang, Fujian, Hunan, Guangdong, Guangxi, Yunnan of China.

Actions
It is used to dispel wind and dampness, to promote blood circulation and relieve pain, promote the lactation; for the treatment of rheumatic arthralgia, gastroduodenal ulcer, lack of lactation, boils and traumatic injury.
Dosage and Administrations
Decoct 30~60 g. Proper dosage is for external application, soaked in wine for applying.
