Bo He: Dispersing wind-heat, clearing the head, relieving sore throat, promoting eruption, expelling wind and relieving itching.
Da Huang: Removing blood stasis through invigorating blood circulation and purgating, clearing away heat from blood.
Ze Lan: Activating blood and dispelling blood stasis, resolving swelling.
Ce Bai Ye: Cooling blood to stop bleeding, resolving phlegm and stop cough.
Huang Bo: Clearing heat and removing toxicity.
