Location
3.5 cun lateral to the laryngeal prominence, at the posterior margin of the sternocleidomastoid muscle, 0.5 cun behind LI-18 Futu.
Needling
- Perpendicular insertion, 0.5 to 0.8 cun.
- Straight insertion, 0.5 to 1 cun.
- Puncture perpendicularly, 0.3 to 0.7 cun.
- Moxibustion is applicable.
