Wei Shang Xue (Weishangxue)

Location

2 cun above the navel, 4 cun lateral to REN-10 Xiawan. An alternate source says that this point is 2.5 cun lateral to REN-10 Xiawan.

Needling

Transverse insertion, pointed toward either the navel or ST-25 Tianshu, 2 to 3 cun. Sensation: abdomen feels distended, the navel is pulled tight and the stomach is contracted.

  • Prolapsed stomach
  • Abdominal distention
