Location
On the radial side of the wrist, in the center of the hollow formed between the extensor pollicis longus and extensor pollicis brevis, the anatomical snuffbox.
Needling
- Straight insertion, 0.3 to 1 cun.
- Perpendicular insertion, 0.5 to 1 cun.
- Puncture perpendicularly, 0.3 to 0.5 cun.
- Moxibustion is applicable.
