Location

0.5 to 1 cun anterior to the auricular lobe.

Needling

Slanted insertion with the needle directed forward, 0.5 to 1 cun. Sensation: local distention and soreness, sometimes extending throughout the cheek.

  • Facial paralysis
  • Parotitis
  • Tongue ulcers
  • Ulcers in the mouth
  • Deviation of the eyes and mouth
