Location
On the upper abdomen, 4 cun above the umbilicus, 0.5 cun lateral to REN-12 Zhongwan.
Needling
- Straight insertion, 1 to 1.5 cun.
- Perpendicular insertion, 0.5 to 1 cun.
- Caution: deep needling may puncture the peritoneal cavity.
- Moxibustion is applicable.
