The Weekend Reset: A TCM Take on Recovering from a Hard Week
A weekend will not undo a month of overdrawn nights, but one deliberate reset day helps more than two aimless ones. Warm, simple food; a long walk rather than heroic exercise; an earlier bedtime than feels earned. In TCM terms you are topping up what the week drained, gently, rather than swinging from overwork to overrest.
The short version to actually do
Pick one habit from this page, not all of them. The tradition's own bias is for small correct actions repeated daily, and a routine you keep beats a perfect routine you abandon by Thursday.
None of this replaces a practitioner who can look at your tongue, feel your pulse and ask awkward questions. Use this as background, not as a prescription.
